How many other Frankies are out there?

This PAC is inspired by Oscar Eagle, on his 26th year of being falsely imprisoned at Folsom after being set up by corrupt Rampart police officers. Oscar is the son of Oscar Eagle Sr., one of the organizers of the famed mural project at Estrada Courts. Oscar Eagle Sr. is of the Kickapoo indigenous nation. Oscar's mother, Teresa, was a 2nd generation Chicana from East LA. Oscar was not permitted to attend neither of his parents' funerals. Nor, the funeral of his older brother. Rampart scandal, official inquiry (1998-2000) into corruption among officers of the Rampart Division of the Los Angeles Police Department. More than 70 officers were implicated in misconduct, including unprovoked beatings and shootings, planting and covering up evidence, stealing and dealing drugs, and perjury.

Folsom Cell Block 5 is a political action committee formed by friends of inmates wrongfully imprisoned at Folsom, Corcoran, Pelican Bay, California Men’s Colony and other state prisons.

This Forum is being set-up to see if there are any other Franky Carrillo’s in our state prisons. It is also being set up to voice your encounter after being racially profiled by law enforcement.  After this political campaign, win or lose, we will keep on fighting for those wrongfully incarcerated.
